Mary Ann Bautista is a 20-year veteran of the direct response industry, and a recognized leader to colleagues and clients alike. She launched Bautista Direct Marketing, Inc., a direct marketing media buying and consulting company, in 1998.
Mary Ann takes a hands-on approach to running her business. She works side-by-side with her team on client management and on the development of every media program.
Her passion for direct response stems from a long history with both the client and agency sides of the business. She managed the direct response program at Gateway Learning Corp., publisher of the well-known educational product, “Hooked on Phonics.” She spent six years in direct marketing at SyberVision, where her vertical marketing of “The Pimsleur System” foreign language products returned the company to profitability in the mid-1990s.
Earlier in her career, Mary Ann cut her teeth in the direct response world at Maher, Kaump & Clarke Advertising in Los Angeles and at publishing powerhouse, Knapp Communications.
Mary Ann lives with her husband and two children in Alameda, California. When not strategizing media buys, she spends her time enjoying her husband Frank’s gourmet cooking, working out at the gym (a must due to Frank’s gourmet cooking!), and planning the next family vacation.

| Annette Fuller |

Annette joined BDM in January 2001 as an assistant buyer, quickly ascending to Account Executive and playing pivotal role in the development of the print and online media buying capabilities. It is her passion for technology in addition to growing market demand that guide her in her efforts to continually refine the online cross-platform offerings.
Prior to joining Bautista Direct Marketing, Annette had a successful 15 year career in retail sales, management, and buying. She worked with prestigious organizations such as Ralph Lauren and Nordstrom. She also spent several years working in Japan with the United States Marine Corps as a merchandise buyer for the USMC Morale Welfare Program.
Oh, and, there are two important things to remember about Annette… she loves negotiating and winning!
She and her daughter live in Alameda, Ca and both enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time together. Annette, the only sister to 5 brothers, is also an avid sports fan, and having been born and raised in Los Angeles, has loyalties to the LA Dodgers and St. Louis Rams. She enjoys playing tennis, golf, biking and socializing with friends. Annette holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Notre dame de Namur University.

As a Media Buyer with Bautista Direct Marketing, Erica Bystrom has a critical role in managing media, researching, developing and customizing the most effective campaign strategies for each client. With over 10 years of corporate marketing experience, Erica has acquired the skills necessary to ensure overall client satisfaction.
Erica joined Bautista Direct Marketing in February 2004 as an Assistant Buyer, where she developed the negotiating skills necessary for buying valuable media at the lowest possible cost. Currently, Erica focuses on buying terrestrial radio, analyzing direct response campaigns and proposing ideas for furthering the success of each campaign.
Prior to joining Bautista Direct Marketing, Erica was a Marketing Manager at Lucent Technologies where she coordinated sales goals initiatives for the entire Lucent sales force. Her primary responsibility was managing and marketing the sales force web site through email blasts, product CDs, collateral and web seminars.
Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley. Her hobbies include hiking, dancing and being a soccer mom for her two young children. Erica is also an avid Cal football fan. Go Bears!

Rhonda joined Bautista Direct Marketing in 2005 and is responsible for all record keeping and all financial transactions of the company. Rhonda performs all corporate accounting duties, including customer invoicing, payables, cash receipts, payroll, journal entries and compliance reporting.
With over 20 years experience in all aspects of corporate accounting operations, Rhonda brings a wealth (pun intended) of experience to BDM. Her vast knowledge comes from her time with Fremont Investment Advisors as Senior Accountant, Tesseract Technology as Accounts Receivable/ Revenue Supervisor and BankAmerica Corp.
Rhonda is a Bay Area native who enjoys her free time at her son’s swim meets and supporting her husband’s volunteer activities. She holds a BS in Business Administration from San Francisco State where she graduated Cum Laude.

| Kim Ketchel |

Kim Ketchel has a passion for media. She has spent nearly 20 years in a variety of roles in radio, cable television and internet (be sure to ask her about her time spent on-air!). Most recently, she formed her own consulting company, which develops strategic sales, marketing and revenue generation plans for a variety of clients.
Ketchel brings the winning combination of corporate-minded marketing expertise and sales savvy to the table. She maintains a successful track record of building business by exploring new revenue sources, structuring communication plans and building team-oriented work environments.
Previously, Kim spent 7 years with Jones Media Group serving as Vice President of Marketing and Director of Direct Response Ad Sales. She was also Director of Business Development for Webb Interactive Services, a software development company. Prior to that she has held various sales and marketing positions at Time Warner Cable in Stamford CT; Primestar; cable network, ValueVision and local radio stations in Denver and Santa Barbara.
Ketchel graduated from the University of Colorado, with a BS from the School of Journalism.
